I graduated from Northwest Missouri State University in April 2011 with a degree in Interactive Digital Media and a concentration in Computer Science. IDM is an interdisciplinary degree combining the areas of art, computer science and mass communication. You can read more about it here.
In August I decided to go back to school to get the mass communication concentration of IDM, New Media. I will graduate with another bachelor's degree in April 2012.
During my first term at Northwest I was involved in Sigma Society, a women's community service organization. I was on the executive board for two years as the Public Relations Chair. I created the first website for the organization and designed various publicity and organizational t-shirts.
I was also involved in DigEM, an organization for IDM majors that focuses on networking with digital design firms, and a founding member of the Northwest Volleyball Club.
In addition to the Volleyball Club, I was a founding member of Knacktive, an integrated, interactive marketing communications agency. My team was chosen to present a Technology on Campus report to multiple executives in the Kansas City, MO area.
In my free time I like to stay active. I play sand volleyball, disc golf, softball, and go bowling. I also enjoy photography, music, TV and movies.
